Denise Mayo, age 37, of 700 Mulberry Street, Unadilla, died Sunday, April 22, 2007.
Born in Montezuma, she graduated from Dooly County High School, was a US Air Force veteran and a member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla. Denise worked as a CNA at Summerhill Nursing Home in Perry, loved playing softball and tennis and was a loving mother who enjoyed activities with her children.
Survivors include:
Daughter: Shelby Mayo of Humboldt, NE
Sons: Joseph Mayo of Humboldt, NE
Joshua Mayo of Humboldt, NE
Step Father and Mother: Lloyd and Shirley Harrison of Unadilla
Father: Raymond Tyndal of Macon
Sister: Stephanie D. Harrison of Unadilla
Brothers: Chris Harrison of Unadilla
Ricky Tyndal of Unadilla
Grandmothers: Gladys Hawkins of Unadilla
Annie Ruth Tyndal of Unadilla
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, April 26 in First Baptist Church of Unadilla. Dr. Gene Bowman will officiate and interment will follow in Walnut Cemetery.
The family will greet friends from 6 - 8 PM Wednesday, April 25 at the funeral home.
The family asks that donations be made to them to help defray expenses.
