De Alva O. Chalker, age 89, of 1484 Owen Store Road, Unadilla, died Thursday, October 1, 2009, at her daughter's home on Lake Sinclair.
Born in Dooly County, she was the daughter of the late T. W. Owen and Willa Williams Owen. She was a graduate of Middle Georgia College in Cochran, a homemaker, a member of First Baptist Church of Hawkinsville and the widow of Thomas Hardwick "Tom" Chalker.
Survivors include:
Daughters: Beth Hollingsworth (Ronald) of Milledgeville
Connie May of Tallahassee, FL
Grandchildren: Todd Hollingsworth of Stone Mountain
Scott Hollingsworth of Milledgeville
Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, October 3 in Williams Cemetery in Dooly County.
