David W. Musselwhite, age 68 of 124 George Street, Vienna, Georgia, died Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at the Joseph M. Still Burn Center in Augusta, Georgia.
Born in Thomasville, Georgia, he was the son of the late Luther Ryles Musselwhite and Thedis Rudd Musselwhite.
David worked in law enforcement for Dooly County for 45 years. He retired as the Chief of Police for the Vienna Police Department, then later worked as a captain for the Dooly County Sheriff's Department in 2009, where he was currently employed. In his spare time, David enjoyed being a beekeeper and working with wood.

Daughters: Michelle Musselwhite Smith (Shawn) of Vienna Marsha Musselwhite Henington (George) of Smiths Station, AL
Grandchildren: Tyler Jones Zach Musselwhite Blair Musselwhite Emma Brown Keira Musselwhite Madison Henington Charlie Henington
Brothers: Daniel Musselwhite of Kathleen Billy Musselwhite of Vienna
Sisters: Winnie Musselwhite Davis (Bruce) of Pinehurst Lee Abanathy of Vienna
He was preceded in death by his brother, Luther R. Musselwhite, Jr. and his sister, Nancy Musselwhite Herndon.
Graveside services will be held at 2 pm Monday, April 12 in Vienna City Cemetery.
The family will greet friends 1-3 pm Sunday, April 11 at the funeral home.
