David D. Banks

David D. "Doodle" Banks, age 74, of 103 Tom Watson Avenue, Ideal, died Friday, December 3, 2010, at Flint River Community Hospital in Montezuma.

Born in Vienna, he was the son of the late Andrew Thomas Banks and Avy Ann Ganas Banks. He retired from the US Navy after 20 years of service and then worked for the Office of Personnel Management in Macon as a computer supervisor. Mr. Banks was a Methodist and a family-oriented man.

Son: David Douglas Banks of Ideal

Daughter: Shari Swaney of Moodus, CT

Grandchildren: 5
Great Grandchildren: 1

A visitation will be held 2 - 4 PM Sunday, December 5 at Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna.

Additional visitations will be held on Tuesday, December 7 from 2 - 4 PM and 7 - 8 PM at Markwood Funeral Home in Keyser, West Virginia.

Graveside services will be held at Knobley Cemetery in New Creek, West Virginia on Wednesday, December 8.

Memorial gifts may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
