Darlene Bledsoe

Darlene Bledsoe, age 80, died Saturday, June 26, 2004, in a Montezuma hospital.

Born in Taylor County, she was the daughter of the late Turner E. Lane and Maggie Rowland Lane. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She served as a Pink Lady at Dooly Medical Center for 17 years and worked as a cashier at All State Truck Stop in Unadilla. Her husband, Herschel Bledsoe, preceded her in death.

Survivors include:
Daughters: Nan B. Jones of Loganville
Alice B. Parks of Cobb

Sons: Robert Bledsoe of Santee, CA
Hubert Bledsoe of Vienna
Charles M. Bledsoe of Dry Branch

Grandchildren: 17
Great Grandchildren: 24

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 29 in Liberty Baptist Church. The interment will be in the church cemetery.

The family will be at the funeral home for visitation on Monday, June 28 from 6 - 8 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Liberty Cemetery Fund, c/o Charles Bowen 2304 Findlay Road, Pinehurst, GA 31070.

Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna has charge of arrangements.
