Danny Calhoun

Danny Calhoun, age 78, of 105 Cardinal Avenue, Perry, died Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.

Born in Hawkinsville, he was the son of the late Malcolm Calhoun and Carrie Mae Mitchell Calhoun.  He was a United States Army veteran and retired as a supervisor at Fort Benning.  Danny loved arrowhead hunting, fishing and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.  More than anything else, he loved his family.

Children: Danny Lynn Calhoun of Front Royal, VA Michael Dutcher of Unadilla Debbie Cross (Jeff) of Perry Dale Dutcher of Unadilla Keith Dutcher of Americus Millie Kobs of Andersonville

Brothers: Wayne Calhoun (Cathy) of Elbert, CO Greg Calhoun (Debbie) of Parrottsville, TN

Many grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive.

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Danny’s life at 11AM Saturday, June 28 at the residence, 105 Cardinal Avenue, Perry, Georgia.

For those who wish to honor Danny's memory, the family suggests a memorial gift to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, New York 10306.
