Dan Carr, age 76, of 400 East Union Street, Vienna, died Sunday, June 17, 2012, at The Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.
Born in Vienna, he was the son of the late John Lawson Carr and Inez Cummings Carr. He was a member of Vienna First Baptist Church and had worked at Vienna Hardware, Cordele Sash Door & Lumber and retired from the City of Vienna.
Survivors include:
Wife: Carolyn B. Carr of Vienna
Daughters:
Teresa C. Brown (Marcus) of Vienna
Virginia C. Holt (Johnny) of Vienna
Denise L. Coppedge of Vienna
Grandchildren: Travis Myers & Jeffrey Myers
Funeral services will be at 3 PM Wednesday, June 20 in Vienna First Baptist Church with interment in Vienna City Cemetery.
The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Tuesday, June 19 at the funeral home.
