Cossie L. Brown

Cossie L. Brown, age 92, of 2895 Arena Road, Unadilla, died Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville.

Born in Unadilla, he was the son of the late Sherry Lee Brown and Willie Quincy Cross Brown.  He retired from Robins Air Force Base and was the owner of Brown's Cabinet Shop.  Cossie was a member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla and the Charles Speight Sunday School Class.  He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a Shriner.  He was also a member of the Coffee Club and the Unadilla Lions Club.

Great Grandchildren:  Several

Nephews: Larry Pearce (Carol) Floyd Malone (Angie) Steve Pearce (Debi)

Nieces: Lindall Malone Watson Patsy Gilbert Bridges

Great Niece: Cindy Bridges Dossett (Terry)

Great Great Nephews: Chris Tyndal (Ashley) Paul Dossett

Great Great Great Niece and Nephews: McClendon, Henry and Elliott Tyndal

He was preceded in death by his wife, Annette Pearce Brown; his brother, Tommy J. Brown his sisters, Jimmie Lee Bridges and Katie Irene Brown; his nephew, P. L. Bridges; his great niece, Sherry Leigh Bridges.

Graveside services will be held at 4 PM Saturday, May 1 in Walnut Cemetery.  Rev. Tommy Daniels will officiate.

The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Friday, April 30 at the funeral home.
