Claire Williamson, age 84, of 2949 Highway 90, Vienna, died Tuesday, December 18, 2007, at Magnolia Manor in Americus.
Born in Montgomery County, she was the daughter of the late Grady Williamson and Myrt Claire Morgan Williamson and a graduate of Tift College. She lived in Atlanta for 25 years and worked as Dental Assistant. During her time there, she was an active member of Druid Hills Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. After returning to Vienna, she was a member of Vienna First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School. She was a former President of the American Dental Assistants Association, a former Professor at the Dental School of the College of Charleston and served on the Dooly Hospital Authority. One of her greatest loves was helping others through the Helping Hand Ministry.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM Friday in Vienna First Baptist Church with interment in Vienna City Cemetery.
