Claire W. Chambless

Claire W. Chambless, age 80, of Lilly, died Wednesday, March 3, 2004, in an Albany hospital.

Born in Dooly County, she was the daughter of the late John William Woodruff and Hattie Bowen Woodruff. She graduated from Andrew College, retired from Forest Mills where she was a payroll clerk and was a member of Lilly United Methodist Church.

Sisters: Margaret Bailey of Douglas
Ellen Stanford (Jack) of Snellville
Grace Mason (Albert) of Clearwater, FL

Grandchildren: Guy Chambless of Rome
Emily Guerry of Charleston, SC
Joel Guerry of Rochester, NY

Great Grandchildren: Ella Claire Chambless of Rome
Emmie Chambless of Rome

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday in Lilly United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Lilly City Cemetery.
