Charles H. Whaley

Charles H. "Chuck" Whaley, age 72, of 754 Duncan Avenue, Unadilla, died Thursday, September 4, 2008, at Pineview Health Care Center.
Born in Broxton, Georgia, he was the son of the late Walter Whaley and Elizabeth Burch Whaley. He served in the United States Navy for over 20 years and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Mr. Whaley worked at Proctor & Gamble following his Navy career and was a member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla, the Charles Speight Sunday School Class and loved fishing. He was a loving husband and father.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, September 7 in First Baptist Church of Unadilla. Interment with full military honors will follow in Browndale Cemetery.
The family will greet friends from 7 - 9 PM Saturday, September 6 at the funeral home.
