Charles G. "Chuck" Speight, III, age 23, of Unadilla, died Tuesday, July 4, 2006, in a Macon hospital.
Chuck was born in Bibb County on June 3, 1983. He was a 2001 graduate of Fullington Academy and attended Middle Georgia College and Georgia Southern University. He was a member of Unadilla United Methodist Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and riding motorcycles.
Survivors include:
Parents: Charlie and Cathy Speight of Unadilla
Sister: Fran McLeod (Benji) of Marietta
Grandparents: Charles and Patsy Speight of Unadilla
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 6 in Unadilla United Methodist Church. Rev. Grady Vance and Rev. Thomas Johnson will officiate and interment will follow in Walnut Cemetery.
The family will greet friends from 6 - 7:30 PM Wednesday, July 5 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Methodist Childrens Home, PO Box 2525 Macon, GA 31297.
Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Unadilla has charge of arrangements.
