Charles J. Scarborough

Charles J. "Boe" Scarborough, age 79, of 2890 Arena Road, Unadilla, died Thursday, September 11, 2008, at Heart of Georgia Hospice.
Born in Dooly County, he was the son of the late Carlton Scarborough and Cora Jones Scarborough. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War and retired from Robins Air Force Base. Following his retirement, he worked for 13 years at Dennard's Bait and Tackle in Unadilla. He attended Unadilla United Methodist Church and was a member of the Moose Lodge.

Daughter: Gay Scarborough-Barrett of Perry
Sisters: Susie Bell of Warner Robins
Minnie Cody of New Mexico
Granddaughter: Hanna Barrett of Perry
He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrna Wilson Scarborough and by his siblings, Exie Shirley and Ralph Scarborough.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 13 in Walnut Cemetery. Rev. Donald Combs will officiate.
The family will greet friends from 6 - 8 PM Friday, September 12 at the funeral home.
