Charles Nutt

Charles Nutt, age 69, of 414 Lilly Street, Vienna, died Saturday, August 24, 2019, at his residence.

Born in Vienna, he was the son of the late James Bennett Nutt and Ruby Holley Nutt.  For many years, Charles worked as a mechanic and attendant at Edalgo's Service Station, Woodward Service Station and Causey's Service Station.  He was a member of Tippettville Baptist Church.  Charles loved his family and was always willing to help his nieces and nephews in any way he could.

Sisters: Rosa Fite (Eddie) of Cumming Emma Britt of Sycamore Frances Crook of Cordele Mary Ellen Lucas (Jimmy) of Pinehurst Nancy Cromer of Unadilla Alice Turner (Jerry) of Vienna

Sister-in-law:  Jeane Nutt of Loganville

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Melvin Ray Nutt and Archie Nutt.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, August 27 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna.  Interment will be private for family only at Tippettville Cemetery.

The family will greet friends 6 - 7 PM Monday, August 26 at the funeral home.
