Charles B. Goodroe

Charles B. Goodroe, age 81, of 1151 Borum Street, Unadilla, died Friday, March 7, 2008, at Serenity Gate in Perry.
Born in Dooly County, he was the son of the late Charles B. Goodroe and Eva Mae Harris Goodroe. He was a US Army veteran of WWII and retired from Mixon Chevrolet in Vienna where he was Sales Manager. Mr. Goodroe was a member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla where he served as a Deacon and taught Sunday School. He was also a member of the VFW.

Wife: Edna Minnick Goodroe of Unadilla
Sons: Charlie Goodroe (Carol) of Macon
Michael Goodroe (Joane) of Norcross
Grandchildren: Michael H. Goodroe, Nathan H. Goodroe,
Chip Goodroe and Christopher Goodroe
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, March 10 in First Baptist Church of Unadilla with interment in Walnut Cemetery.
The family will greet friends from 4 - 6 PM Sunday, March 10 at the funeral home.
