Cecil J. King

Cecil J. King, age 88, of 301 North 5th Street Vienna, died Monday, May 6, 2013, at his residence.

Born in Vienna, he was the son of the late Willie King and Julia Crozier King and a US Army veteran of World War II. Mr. King was a licensed funeral director and embalmer and worked for many years as an embalmer at Central State Hospital in Milledgeville. Later, he retired from the Georgia Department of Labor. He was preceded in death by his son, Billy Dale King.

Son: Raymond King (Peggy) of Vienna

Daughter: Mary Julia Roney (Gene) of Vienna

Sister: Ruby K. Patrick of Vienna

Grandchildren: David Roney and Adam Roney of Vienna

Graveside services will be at 11 AM Wednesday, May 8 in Vienna City Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Mason officiating.

The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Tuesday, May 7 at the funeral home.
