Carolyn M. Potts, age 90, of Vienna, died Saturday, September 4, 2004, in a Macon hospital.
Born in Dooly County, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Coleman McGahee and Nina Peavy McGahee. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Vienna, the Ruth Sunday School Class, the WMU and the Vienna Garden Club. Her husband, Ralph C. Potts, preceded her in death.
Survivors include:
Daughter: Jean Briggs of Vienna
Grandchildren: 5
Great Grandchildren: 7
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday in Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna. Rev. Jamey Hunt will officiate and burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Monday from 7 - 9 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church, PO Box 351 Vienna, GA 31092.
Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna has charge of arrangements.
