Carolyn (Peavy) Massey

Carolyn P. Massey, age 86, of 307 Charles Street, Vienna, died Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Cherry Blossom Nursing Home in Macon.

Born in Unadilla, she was the daughter of the late Edwin Peavy and Beatrice Harper Peavy.  She lived in Florida for many years and retired from the telephone company in Lake Wales.  Carolyn returned to Georgia a few years ago.  She attended First Baptist Church of Unadilla.  Carolyn was an excellent painter and seamstress.

Survivors include: Daughter:  Sharon Massey of Kinston, AL

Grandchildren: Adam Crum (Wendy) Cassandra Crum

Great Grandchildren:  3

She is also survived by her friend and caregiver, Joyce Jones.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Massey and five sisters, Juanita, Hattie Mae, Clyde, Mary and Ellen.

No services will be held.
