Carolyn (Brannen) Carr
August 12, 1937 — March 16, 2017
Carolyn Carr, age 79, of 400 East Union Street, Vienna, died Thursday, March 16, 2017, at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele.
Born in Unadilla, she was the daughter of the late John D. "Bud" Brannen and Lucy Ransom Brannen. She retired from the Dooly County Schools where she was a lunchroom manager. Mrs. Carr was a member of Vienna First Baptist Church and also taught Sunday School. She also enjoyed cooking and was well known for her cakes she shared with friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Carr; her brothers, Larry Brannen and J. E. Brannen; her granddaughter, Stephanie Myers.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM Monday, March 20 in Vienna First Baptist Church with interment in Vienna City Cemetery.
The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Sunday, March 19 at the funeral home.
