Carl E. Cross

Carl E. Cross, more commonly referred to as "Pop" or "Butchie", passed away Saturday, April 25, 2020, at the age of 80.

Born in Unadilla, he was the son of the late Carl E. Cross and Dorothy Hollingsworth Cross.  He proudly served his country for three years in the United States Navy.  Carl worked as an electronics technician and retired from Robins Air Force Base after 30 years of service.  He was a member of First Baptist Church of Haynesville.

Survivors include: Wife:  Jean "Nanny" Cross of Unadilla

Children: Wanda Johnson of Indianapolis, IN Jeff Cross (Debbie) of Perry Linda Collins (Ronnie) of Unadilla Steve Cross (Renee) of Unadilla

Grandchildren:  Tim Dingler, Mark Cummings, Kimberly Robbins, Jason Cross and Jennifer Cross

He is also survived by several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service for immediate family only will be held at 4:30 PM Wednesday, April 29 in Walnut Cemetery with Rev. David Fisher officiating.

The service will be live-streamed on the funeral home Facebook page.
