Carl Lee Abanathy, age 51, of 1833 Vienna Highway, Hawkinsville, died Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at his residence.
Born in Vienna, he was the son of the late Robert Abanathy, Sr. and Doris Moss Abanathy. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and a farmer. Carl enjoyed working, was a great artist and loved guns.

Carl was looking forward to the birth of his first grandchild, Leala Hope Abanathy in May of 2017.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM Friday, January 6 in Harmony Baptist Church with interment in Harmony-Smyrna Cemetery.
The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Thursday, January 5 at the funeral home.
