Buz Vaughan

Van A. "Buz" Vaughan, Jr., age 66 of Vienna, died Monday, September 13, 2021 at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele.

Buz was born on September 3, 1955 to the late Van A. Vaughan and Faye Pooler Vaughan.  He was a farmer and the owner of JAC Trucking Company.  Buz was a member of Drayton Baptist Church and served as a Deacon.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing but his greatest joy was the time he spent with his grandchildren who knew him as "Pops."

Survivors include: Sons: Jeremy Nipper (Kelly) of Tampa, FL Adam Vaughan (Mandy) of Cordele Clay Vaughan (Joanna) of Byromville

Grandchildren: Jadyn Rose Nipper Kamden Nipper Kolton Nipper Ava Mae Vaughan Mollie Vaughan Kade Vaughan Case Vaughan

Former wife:  Patty Vaughan of Cordele

A private graveside service for family only will be held at 11 AM Thursday, September 16 in Vienna City Cemetery.

The service will be live-streamed on the funeral home Facebook page.

Buz will lie in state at the funeral home 11 am - 6 pm Wednesday, September 15 and 8 am - 10 am Thursday, September 16.
