Bud Cross

C. V. "Bud" Cross, age 79, of 2742 Third District Road, Unadilla, died Tuesday, May 13, 2003, at his residence.
Born in Dooly County, Georgia, he was the son of the late Charlton Lewis Cross and Mattie Lou Nelson Cross. He was a US Navy veteran of WWII, a farmer and a member of Harmony Baptist Church.

Sons: Warren Cross of Hawkinsville
Howard Cross of Unadilla
Brother: Harvey Cross of Unadilla
Sisters: Madine Hudson of Unadilla
Marvis Benson of Pinehurst
Grandchildren: 2
Great Grandchildren: 3

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, May 15 at Harmony Baptist Church near Unadilla. Rev. Cham White and Rev. Benjie Dyal will officiate and burial will follow in Harmony-Smyrna Cemetery. William Cross, Royce Cross, Dennis Posey, Wesley Posey, Charlie Benson and Joe Williams will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: United Hospice, 415 East Fourth Avenue, Cordele, GA 31015 or to the donor's favorite charity.
The family will receive friends from 7 - 9 PM Wednesday, May 14 at the funeral home.
