Buck Wade

Emmett W. "Buck" Wade, Jr., age 56, of 501 Polk Road, Hawkinsville, died Tuesday, February 25, 2020, at Houston Medical Center in Warner Robins.

Buck was born in Hawkinsville to Barbara Burnette Wade and the late Emmett W. Wade.  He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and worked as a general contractor for Houston County.  Buck loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Survivors include: Wife:  Wendy L. Wade of Hawkinsville

Daughter:  Katelan Danielle Wade of Atlanta

Son:  William Dalton Wade of Hawkinsville

Step-Daughter:  Laura Ashley Christopher (Joe) of Sharpsburg

Mother:  Barbara Wade of Hawkinsville

Sisters: Robin Davis (Joe) of Cochran Ann Sharp (Freddy) of Hawkinsville

Step-Grandchildren: Brooks Christopher of Sharpsburg Ella Christopher of Sharpsburg

Nieces/Nephews: Joe Davis of Hawkinsville Tiffany Taylor (Paul) of Raleigh, NC Jenna Spears of Warner Robins Allison Braun of Warner Robins

Graveside services will be held at 1 PM Saturday, February 29 in Browndale Cemetery.

The family will greet friends after the service at the cemetery.
