Bommer R. Parks, Jr.

July 30, 1938 — February 8, 2017

Bommer R. Parks, Jr., age 78, of 1214 Williford Crossing Road South, Cordele, died Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at Crisp Regional Nursing & Rehab in Cordele.

Born in Wilcox County, he was the son of the late Bommer R. Parks and Mary Lois Calhoun Parks.  He was a United States Army veteran, a member of Hatley Baptist Church and a self-employed carpet installer.

Survivors include:
Wife:  Margaret "Kiki" Parks of Cordele

Son:  Shawn Wiggins (Sherri) of Union Point

Daughter:  Leigh Anne Parks Stachowiak (Jeff) of Jacksonville, FL

Step-Children:
Todd Ramson (Angie) of Newport Richey, FL
Suzette Chavanne (Billy) of Spring Hill, FL
Jennifer Burge of Trinity, FL

Sister-in-law:  Mary Short of Dunnellon, FL

Brother-in-law:  Greg Carpenter of San Diego, CA

Grandchildren:  3

Step-Grandchildren:  6

Great Grandchildren:  Several

Memorial services will be held at 2 PM Saturday, February 18 at Hatley Baptist Church with Rev. James Spires officiating.
