Bob L. Hamsley, Sr., age 83, of 2936 Pine Street, Unadilla, died Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at his residence.
Bob was born in Grovania to the late Melvin G. Hamsley and Alice Glenn Hamsley. He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla. He retired from the pulpwood and timber business.

He was preceded in death by his son, Bobby L. Hamsley, Jr., his wife, Lois Hamsley and his siblings, Frank Hamsley, Kenneth Hamsley and Herman Hamsley.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM Tuesday, May 21 in First Baptist Church of Unadilla with interment in Walnut Cemetery.
The family will greet friends 6:30 - 8:30 PM Monday, May 20 at the funeral home.
