William Joseph 'Bill' Jackson, age 61, of 1950 Gay Drive, Augusta, Georgia, died Sunday, March 9, 2003, at his residence.
Born in Henderson, North Carolina,he was the son of the late Harvey Jennings Jackson and Carrie Lee West Jackson. He was a US Army veteran, a meat cutter and a Catholic.
Survivors include:
Wife: Betty Spradley Jackson of Augusta
Sister: Ellen V. Clark of Beach Grove, TN
Brothers: Robert A. Jackson of Aurora, CO
Jentines Jackson of Lecanto, FL
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 13 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home in Unadilla, Georgia. Rev. Rich Bowen will officiate and burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Hope Church of God in Augusta, Georgia.
The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM Wednesday, March 12 at the funeral home.
Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Unadilla has charge of arrangements.
