Betty J. (Watson) Mccleskey

Betty J. McCleskey, age 87 of Pinehurst, died Sunday, October 6, 2024, at Addington Place in Dublin.

Born in Unadilla, she was the daughter of the late Leon Watson, Sr. and Omie Lee Cheatwood Watson.  Betty was a homemaker and a faithful member of Liberty Baptist Church.  She loved cooking and being with her grandkids.  One of her greatest joys in life was visiting the sick and elderly.  She had also served as a Pink Lady at Dooly Medical Center in Vienna.

Survivors include: Daughter:  Beth Callahan (Randy) of Vidalia

Sons: Johnny McCleskey (Beth) of Vienna Karl McCleskey (Marcia) of Hawkinsville

Grandchildren:  Brandy Hunnicutt (Jason), Matthew McCleskey, Haley Roksandich (Jordan Culp), Morgan McCleskey, Noah McCleskey (Cindy) and Rachel McCleskey

Great Grandchildren: Nora, Noah and Abel Hunnicutt Sarah, Wyatt and Elijah Roksandich Lacey Ortiz Klaus McCleskey

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Rha McCleskey, Jr. and her siblings, Mabel Newman, Leon Watson, Jr., Mittie Ella "Skeet" Hicks and Wayne Watson.

A private graveside service for family only will be held in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
