Betty R. (Warren) Nelson

Betty R. Nelson, age 91, died Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Pruitt Health Care Center in Ashburn.

Born in Pitts, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Eugene Warren and Willie Ruth Faircloth Warren.  She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church and retired from the sewing factory in Cordele where she was an inspector.

Survivors include: Sons: Wayne Nelson (Linda) of Cordele Rodney Nelson (Dorothy Moree) of Vienna

Grandchildren: Michelle Nelson Angie Thornton (B. I.) Justin Nelson (Alicia) Jay Nelson (Jenny) Adrienne Worley

Great Grandchildren:  9

She was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Nelson and her great grandchild, Brycen Nelson.

Funeral services will be held at 4:30 PM Saturday, January 27 in Pleasant View Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.

The family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service.

Memorial gifts may be made to the building fund of Pleasant View Baptist Church, 74 Spruce Lane, Pitts, Georgia 31072.
