Betty C. Poole, age 85, of 423 School Avenue, Unadilla, died Saturday, June 9, 2012 in Lee County, Georgia.
Born in Rockledge, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Nathaniel John Cooper and Nettie Mae Moore Cooper. Mrs. Poole was a graduate of the Macon Hospital School of Nursing, worked as a registered nurse for many years and served as director of nursing at Dooly Medical Center. She was a member of Unadilla United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, William Bruce Poole and her granddaughter, Amanda Lynn Poole.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM Tuesday, June 12 in Unadilla United Methodist Church with interment in Walnut Cemetery.
The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Monday, June 11 at the funeral home and may be contacted at the Poole residence, 423 School Avenue Unadilla.
