Betty F. Brannen, age 54, of 1539 Johnson Street, Dooling, died Thursday, April 24, 2003, in a Macon hospital.
Born in Dooly County, she was the daughter of the late Zachary Taylor Fountain and Gladys Phillips Fountain. She was a member of Dooling Baptist Church and had formerly worked as a LPN at Montezuma Health Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 26 at Dooling Baptist Church. Rev. Daniel Burnette will officiate and burial will follow in Swearingen Cemetery in Byromville. Pallbearers will be Floyd Hamsley, Ronnie Jones, Don Shugart, Ken Randall, Jerry McCleod, Ves Owens, Sherman Clack and Garry Welch.
