Bertha S. Lindsey

Bertha S. Lindsey, age 95, of 485 Lindsey Road, Unadilla, died Friday, January 12, 2007, at her residence.

Born in Dooly County, she was the daughter of the late Noah Freeman Sanders and Willie Alsobrook Sanders. She was a homemaker, a member of Smyrna Independent Methodist Church and the Womens Auxillary.

Survivors include:
Son: Tommy Lindsey of Unadilla

Sister: Martha Evans of Dublin

Grandchildren: 15
Great Grandchildren: 23
Great Great Grandchildren: 5

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennonie Lindsey and by her sons, Harry, George, Raymond and Pete.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, January 14 in Smyrna Independent Methodist Church. Rev. Cham White will officiate and interment will follow in Harmony-Smyrna Cemetery.

The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Saturday, January 13 from 6 - 8 PM.
