Bernice P. Jones, age 95, of Unadilla, died Thursday, December 31, 2009, at Pinehill Nursing Center in Byromville.
Born in Dooly County, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Peavy and Annie Shivers Peavy. She was a homemaker and a member of Snow United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Harris Peavy, her husband, Gordon Jones and her son, Harold Jones.
Funeral services will be at 4 PM Sunday, January 3 in Snow United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will greet friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
