Bennie W. Thursby, age 64 of 403 Links View Drive, Bonaire, died Saturday, December 10, 2011, at Houston Medical Center in Warner Robins.
Born in Pelham, he was the son of the late Joseph Thursby and Wilma Dekle Thursby. He retired from UPS and loved telling stories, but his greatest love was his grandchildren.
Survivors include:
Wife: Peggy P. Thursby of Bonaire
Daughters:
Angie King (Brad) of Warner Robins
Amanda Lester (Sam) of Warner Robins
Grandchildren: Blake, Brock, Abby, Marshall, Lewis & Eli
He is also survived by his close friends, Tim, Denise & April Cooper
Funeral services will be at 2PM Tuesday, December 13 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna. Interment will be at 4PM at Parkway Memorial Gardens in Warner Robins.
The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Monday, December 12 at the funeral home.
Memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
