Ben Free, age 54, of 755 Third District Road, Unadilla, died Sunday, August 17, 2003, at Atlanta Medical Center.
Born in Pelham, Georgia, he was the son of the late Clyde Free, a member of Vienna United Methodist Church, a farmer and a member of Bass Masters.

Wife: Elaine M. Free of Unadilla
Daughter: Lynn Free of Columbus
Son: Jamie Free of Unadilla
Mother: Elsie Free of Vienna
Sisters: Norma Posey of Vienna
Alva Childers of Cordele
Grandchildren: Tyler Free of Unadilla
Julianna Free of Unadilla
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 19 at Harmony Baptist Church. Rev. Shane Green and Rev. Benjie Dyal will officiate and interment will follow in Harmony-Smyrna Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM Monday, August 18 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Harmony Baptist Church 5925 Pinehurst-Hawkinsville Highway Unadilla, Georgia 31091.
