Ben Cox

Ben Cox, age 73, of 5375 Slosheye Trail, Vienna, died Monday, September 21, 2020, at his residence.

Born in Vienna, he was the son of the James Hardy Cox and Norma Renfroe Cox.  He served his country with honor in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.  He was the former owner of Tropical Foliage in Vienna.  Ben was a witty person and loved hunting, fishing and woodworking.

Nieces: Page Thornton of Montezuma Stacy Payne of Montezuma

Nephews: James Cox of Cordele Ryan Payne of Unadilla

Cousins: Cathy Morgan of Vienna Edmond Jackson of Vienna Wanda Owens of Vienna Charles Renfroe of Vienna Norma Whittle Law of Cumming

He was preceded in death by his twin brother, James William "Bill" Cox.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, September 26 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home.  Rev. Tommy Mason will officiate.  Due to COVID-19, seating will be limited and face masks are encouraged.
