Audrey G. Wood, age 81, of Unadilla, died Thursday, March 22, 2007, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville.
Born in Morton, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Lynn Cooper and Bessie Winstead Cooper. Audrey was a dedicated Christian who loved her Lord and devoted her time to helping others through her church, First Baptist Church of Unadilla and the Houston Baptist Association. She retired from Robins Air Force Base and was the widow of Rupert Wood.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM Sunday, March 25 in Tippettville Baptist Church with interment following in Tippettville Cemetery.
The family will greet friends in the church fellowship hall following the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tippettville Baptist Church, c/o Geneva Johnson, 421 Pinecrest Drive, Vienna, GA 31092 or to First Baptist Church, PO Box 250, Unadilla, GA 31091.
