Annie S. Walton

Annie S. Walton, age 91, of 431 Beacham Avenue, Unadilla, died Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Miona Geriatric Center in Ideal.

Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Frank Oliver Simons and Mattie Mae Grigsby Simons. She worked for many years as a LPN at several nursing homes and hospitals. She was a member of Christ Center Tabernacle in Atlanta.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul F. Walton.

Funeral services will be held at 3 pm Sunday, September 27 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home. Interment will be held at 11 am Monday, September 28 at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta.

The family will greet friends 5 - 7 pm Saturday, September 26 at the funeral home.
