Annie Ruth Peavy

Annie Ruth Peavy, age 89, of Pinehurst, died Sunday, December 8, 2002, in a Montezuma nursing home.

Born in Pinehurst, she was the daughter of the late Marcus Thompson and Clemmie Hardison Thompson. She was a homemaker, a member of Liberty Baptist Church, where she attended the Ladies Sunday School Class, and had lived in Dooly County all her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otha Peavy, and her grandson, Chip Bailey.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 10, 2002, at Liberty Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery. Rev. Lee Wilson and Dr. Napp Granade will officiate.
