Ann (Williford) Tyndal

Ann W. Tyndal, age 84, of 304 McWhorter Street, Unadilla, died Sunday, March 23, 2025, at her residence.

Born in Cordele, she was the daughter of the late J. D. Williford and Ethel Louise Banks Williford.  Ann graduated from Unadilla High School where she played softball and basketball and was elected homecoming queen.  She had worked at State Bank & Trust Company and at Dooly State Prison and was a member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla.  Ann's greatest joy in life was her grandchildren and she took great pride in watching them participate in sports and school activities.

Survivors include: Sons: Tracy Tyndal (Jessica) of Unadilla Michael Tyndal of Unadilla

Sisters: Lannie Hamsley of Unadilla Virginia Bailey of Unadilla

Grandchildren:  5

Great Grandchildren:  3

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Edward Tyndal, Jr. and her son, Scotty Tyndal.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am Wednesday, March 26 in First Baptist Church of Unadilla with Rev. Brad Blackmon and Rev. Mark Grinsted officiating.

The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service in the fellowship hall of First Baptist Church of Unadilla.
