Anderson Reed

Anderson Reed, age 84, of 14245 Highway 41 North, Pinehurst, died Saturday, January 31, 2004, at his residence.

Born in Hall County, Georgia, he was the son of the late James Isaac Reed and Grace Henderson Reed. He was a member of Pinehurst Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was a retired farmer and businessman and was a Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite and a Shriner.

Survivors include:
Wife: Mary L. Reed of Pinehurst

Sons: Ronald Reed (Edwina) of Pinehurst
Ben Reed (Kay) of Watkinsville

Daughter: Jan Preston (Jeffrey) of Pinehurst

Sister: Flora Reed of Pinehurst

Grandchildren: 11
Great Grandchildren: 8

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, February 2 at Pinehurst Baptist Church. Rev. Freddy Hogg will officiate and burial will follow in Pinehurst City Cemetery.
