Alvin Ransom

Alvin Ransom, age 93, of 523 Ransom Road, Unadilla, died Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at Southland Healthcare and Rehab Center in Dublin.

Born in Unadilla, he was the son of the late Willie Van Ransom and Thelma Brannen Ransom. He was a United States Navy veteran of World War II, a retired farmer and a member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla.  Alvin loved his family and enjoyed travelling.

Survivors include: Sons: Russell Ransom (Terrie) of West Milton, OH David Ransom (Karen) of Unadilla Gary Ransom (Michelle) of Carrabelle, FL

Sister:  Mary Arflin (G. L.) of Unadilla

Brother:  Billy Ransom (Dale) of Unadilla

Grandchildren:  8 Great Grandchildren:  12 Great Great Grandchildren:  3

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Russell Ransom.
