Alvin Hogsett

Alvin Hogsett, age 80, of Unadilla, died Wednesday, October 3, 2007, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville.
Born in Pulaski County, he was the son of the late Elmer Kelly Hogsett and Alda Dupree Hogsett. He was a US Army veteran of WWII, a retired farmer and a member of Harmony Baptist Church where he had served as a Deacon for over 60 years.
He is survived by a sister, Ruby Hogsett Prince of Unadilla; two nieces, June Brannen (Paul) of Unadilla and Kathy Cronan (Tony) of Harriman, TN; 4 great nieces and nephews, Steve and Heidi Brannen and their children, Danielle and Zeke; Robin and Todd Cross and their children, Brett, Dalton and Jake; Amy and John Jones and their child Taylor; and Nathan and Jennifer Cronan and their child, Karlee.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 6 in Harmony Baptist Church. Rev. Jeff Dykes will officiate and interment will follow in Harmony-Smyrna Cemetery.
