Aline C. Spears, age 103, of Vienna, died Friday, February 9, 2007, at River Willows Nursing Home in Abbeville.
Born in Dooly County, she was the daughter of the late Nathan Loam Christmas and Louise Brown Christmas. She was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church, a graduate of Georgia Southwestern State University and a retired school teacher. During her career, she taught in Dooly, Wilcox and Ben Hill Counties and at East Crisp School. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Furman Lee and Howard R. Spears.

Step Children: Anne Hinton of Sanford, FL
Rosa Faye Marcaurelle of Lowell, MA
James H. Spears of Eureka Springs, AR
Several cousins, including Laverne Webb of Vienna, also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 15 in Shiloh United Methodist Church. Rev. Ron Smith will officiate and interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will greet friends from 1 - 2 PM Thursday, February 15 in the church fellowship hall.
