Alice C. (Cheek) Griffin

Alice C. Griffin, age 89, of 255 Pine Avenue, Pinehurst, died Sunday, May 10, 2020, at her residence.

Born in Eastman, she was the daughter of the late Charlie B. Cheek and Nannie Wilcox Cheek.  She graduated from Georgia Southwestern and was a registered nurse.  Mrs. Griffin retired from Robins Air Force Base and was a member of Pinehurst Baptist Church.

Survivors include: Son: George L. Griffin, III (Athielia) of Lawrenceville

Great Grandchildren:  1

She was preceded in death by her husband, George L. Griffin, Jr. and her son, Bob Griffin.

Graveside services for the immediate family only will be held in Pinehurst City Cemetery.
