Alice T. "Puddin" Bowen, age 63, of 455 Tharpe Road, Unadilla, died Wednesday, February 20, 2008, at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.
Born in Dooly County, she was the daughter of the late Sam Tharpe and Frances Motes Tharpe. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla, the Disciples Sunday School Class and worked as a clerk at the Clothing Carnival in Unadilla.
Survivors include:
Son: Jimmy Bowen (Andrea) of Leesburg
Grandchildren: Sam, Will and Ben Bowen of Leesburg
Her husband, James Clark Bowen, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, February 22 in First Baptist Church of Unadilla. Interment will follow in Walnut Cemetery.
The family will greet friends from 7 - 9 PM Thursday, February 21 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church, PO Box 250 Unadilla, GA 31091.
