Alfred G. "Buddy" Sullivan, age 86, of 2394 Vineville Avenue, Macon, went to his homecoming on Saturday, June 1, 2013.
He was born in Dooly County on May 9, 1927 and was the eldest son of the late Lloyd Glenn and Viola Campbell Sullivan. He was a farmer in Georgia and North Carolina who loved the outdoors and all animals. Mr. Sullivan retired to Florida and after the death of his wife, Ruth McAdams Sullivan, he moved back to Dooly County.

A host of loving nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Ruth Harper, Agnes Burroughs and Jean Lindsey; his brothers-in-law, Guy Burroughs, Harry Lindsey, Walter Harper, Ed Drane and C. A. Buck.
Memorial services will be held at 4 PM Saturday, June 8 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Unadilla with Rev. Rod Houppert officiating. Interment will follow in Snow Cemetery.

Buddy was the cornerstone of the Sullivan family, welcoming all with open arms and a loving heart. He will be truly missed by all.
