Agnes W. (Wright) Pope

Agnes W. Pope, age 98, of Perry, died Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Summerhill Nursing Center in Perry.

Born in Pinehurst, she was the daughter of the late Emmett Wright and Susie Mason Wright.  She was a longtime resident of Unadilla, a member of Snow Methodist Church and retired from Lanier Clothing where she was a seamstress.  She loved her animals, especially her dog, Butch.  She was preceded in death by her husbands, Willie Davis and Willie Pope, four brothers, and one sister.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews including, Nadine and Mike Warlick, Julie and Thomas Caldwell, Jalila Caldwell and Sheena Caldwell; her special sister, Cora Kelton; her special care-giver, Darcey Felder; her special neighbors, Willie Mae and Robin Williams.

Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, September 3 at Snow Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff of Summerhill Nursing Center and Gentiva Hospice for the excellent care they gave Mrs. Pope.
