Lee W. Martin

Lee W. Martin, age 79, of 1106 North 4th Street, Cordele, died Saturday, January 18, 2020, at Cordele Health & Rehab.

Born in Cordele, he was the son of the late James W. "Dub" Martin and Isoline Hood Martin.  He was a US Navy veteran, a Mason and Shriner and a member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla.  For over 25 years, Lee was the owner/operator of the Cree Mee in Unadilla.  He loved the Georgia mountains, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.

Sister: Gwen Burnette of Landon, KY

Caretakers:  Lee and Virginia Bailey of Unadilla

He was preceded in death by his sons, Greg Martin and Josh Martin; his twin brother, Loran Martin; his brother, James Martin; his sisters, Hazel Cantrell, Gloria Martin and Shirley Allison.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM Monday, January 20 in Harmony Baptist Church with interment in Walnut Cemetery.

The family will greet friends 5 - 7 PM Sunday, January 19 at the funeral home.
