Joann B. Rumney, age 78, of Forsyth, died Friday, January 4, 2019, at the Medical Center-Navicent Health in Macon.
Born in Unadilla, she was the daughter of the late Claude Blackmon and Ruth Powell Blackmon. She was a homemaker, a loving wife, a devoted mother to her four children. She was preceded in death by her three sisters, one brother and her son, Timothy M. Everidge.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Monday, January 7 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna.
The family will greet friends 10 - 11 AM Monday, January 7 at the funeral home and may be contacted at the residence of Wendy Cape, 607 Lewis Mill Road, Vienna.

Funeral services for Mrs. Rumney will be at 2 PM Tuesday, January 8 in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home in Macon. Interment will follow in Macon Memorial Park.
